Adjustment to College Support Group
Tuesdays 3:15 - 4:00pm at the Counseling Center. Miguel Hall, room 501
Attending college is a major life transition for young adults. Feeling overwhelmed, uneasy, or missing home can be a normal part of the adjustment process, but you don't have to go through it alone.
Join us on Tuesday afternoons to meet other students and receive encouragement and support. Aspects of the adjustment process and coping strategies will be discussed.
To register for the group email Carol at cciancutti01@manhattan.edu or for more information call the Center at (718) 862-7394.
Grief Support Group for Students
The Counseling center will be offering a support group for students who are grieving the death of a loved one. Grief and loss are universal experiences that can feel isolating; especially if you are away from home. This group will provide an opportunity to talk with other grieving students in a safe and supportive environment.
To register for this group or for more information please email Carol at cciancutti01@manhattan.edu or call the Center at (718) 862-7394.
