Faculty and staff at Manhattan University who interface with students daily play a key role in student mental health and identifying concerns and risk.

If you are unsure about what to do, our staff is here to help and guide you.

  • You can call, email or walk in to address any concerns about a student. Our office is located in Miguel Hall, Room 501 (access through northern stairwell)
  • You can provide our information to a student.
  • You can sit with the student while they make the call or walk them into our office.

The Counseling and Psychological Center is staffed in person Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. The Center's offers walk-in hours Monday through Thursday. These are offered on a first come first serve basis.

  • Mondays: 2pm to 3pm
  • Tuesdays: 2pm to 3pm
  • Wednesdays: 2pm to 3pm 
  • Thursdays from 2pm to 3pm

When classes are not in session or during breaks and summer sessions, please call the Counseling Center or email us.

In the case of a mental health emergency when the Counseling Center is closed: please contact Public Safety at 718-862-7333; they will provide assistance and contact the counseling staff or Call 911.
