    Fall 2026 Residence Hall Move-In Information

    First-Year Students, Transfer & Exchange Students 

    Mandatory Building Meetings Thursday Evening (Time TBA)

    • Wednesday, August 19, 2026 - students attending orientation on August 20, 2026 are permitted to move into the halls from 10:00am - 5:00pm. 
    • Wednesday, August 19, 2026 - all exchange students are permitted to move into the halls from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
    • Thursday, August 20, 2026 - all students not attending orientation on 8/20/26 are permitted to start moving into the halls as follows:
      • Last name A - L : 10:00am - 2:00pm
      • Last Name M - Z : 1:00pm - 5:00pm
    All Returning Students 

    Mandatory Building Meetings Sunday Evening (Time TBA)

    • Last name A - L : Saturday, August 22, 2026 10:00am - 5:00pm
    • Last Name M - Z : Sunday, August 23, 2026 10:00am - 5:00pm

    Fall Break 

    • Monday, October 12, 2026 - Residence Halls remain open.

    Thanksgiving Break 

    • November 25, 2026 - November 27, 2026
      • Residence Halls remain open. Students will be required to complete a form via their MyMU portal to register to stay. There is no fee, however, please note that dining services will be closed. 

    Fall Finals Week Guest Policy & Quiet Hours

    • No overnight guests starting Tuesday, December 8, 2026 through Monday December 14, 2026.
    • 24 hour quiet hours begin Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 5:00pm and continue until Monday, December 14, 2026. 

    Residence Hall Closing Winter Break 2026 

    • Wednesday, December 16, 2026 at 10:00am 

    Residence Hall Opening Spring 2027

    • Sunday, January 17, 2027 at 10:00am 

    Spring Finals Week Guest Policy & Quiet Hours

    • No overnight guests starting Tuesday, May 4, 2027 through Thursday May 14, 2027.
    • 24 hour quiet hours begin Tuesday, May 4, 2027 at 5:00pm and continue until Thursday, May 14, 2027. 

    Residence Hall Closing Spring 2027 

    • For all non-graduating students, the residence halls close promptly at 10:00am on Thursday, May 13, 2027.
    • For students participating in commencement, the residence halls close promptly at 10:00am on Monday, May 17, 2027. 

    **Due to a quick turnover to over to our summer programs, we are unable to accomodate late departures. Please plan travel arrangements accordingly.**

    • Entry Points: 
      • Main campus entrance at 4513 Manhattan College Parkway
      • Direct access via the Jasper Parking Lot

    Lee Hall

    • Entry Points: 
      • Main entry through the first-floor entrance off the service road
      • Eighth-floor bridge entrance (Only open to residential students of Horan Hall from 7:00am - 10:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:00am - 7:00pm on Friday)
