Residence Halls close on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10:00am
- Students staying past 10:00am on Saturday, March 14, 2026 will incur a $50 per day fee OR pay $350 for the entire spring break
Resident Halls
reopen on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 10:00am
Easter Break
Thursday, April 2, 2026 - Monday, April 6, 2026.
- The residence halls will remain open and there is no fee to stay in the resdience halls during this time. There will be a form that you must fill out on your MyMU portal to register to stay.
Housing Selection
- Housing Application will be open the week of March 19, 2026.
- Week of April 6, 2026 – log into your MyMU portal to choose your room and roommates/suitemates. (Specifics days and times TBA for those who apply.)
Spring Fest Guest Policy
- No guests (day or overnight) starting at 5:00pm Friday, April 17, 2026, through Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 12:00pm.
Finals Week Guest Policy
- No overnight guests starting Friday. May 1, 2026, at 5:00pm through Saturday, May 9, 2026
Residence Hall Closing for Spring 2026
All residence halls close promptly at 10:00am on Saturday, May 9, 2026, for all residential students (excluding those residential students who are walking at graduation, summer residents and 12-month license holders)
- Residential graduates walking at graduation who need to stay past 10:00am on 5/9/26 will need to complete a form on their MyMU portal to register to stay.
- For residential students walking at graduation:
- All residence halls officially close Sunday, May 17, 2026, promptly at 10:00am
**Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late departures on both Spring 2026 closing dates due to a very tight turnaround for the halls to our summer programs. Please plan your travels accordingly.
