As a collaboration between Student Life and Academics, the Women and Gender Resource Center is committed to collaborative scholarship focused on gender justice, intersectionality, and the Lasallian tradition.
The WGRC Summer Research Fellowship
The WGRC funds a summer research fellowship each year, to support student research on gender, sexuality, intersectionality, student advocacy, and/or Lasallian values. Our student fellows work closely throughout the summer with Manhattan University’s Summer Research Program, faculty advisors, and the WGRC’s staff and community of advisors. In addition to producing a research paper, students are asked to build resources, including workshops and advocacy papers, that support the WGRC’s work in our community. Applications for the WGRC Summer Research Fellowship are due in March.
