Campus Ministry and Social Action seeks to serve students of all religious traditions.

Religious Services

Please come and talk to us about how we can best meet your individual prayer and worship needs. We offer the following religious services:  

  • Sunday Mass is celebrated on Sundays at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers, located on the 2nd floor of Smith/
  • Daily morning prayer is offered at 10 a.m. in Cornerstone, Miguel 209.
  • Jummah Prayer takes place on Fridays at 12 p.m. in the Horan Hall Meditation Room, 1st floor.
  • Advent and Lenten reflections take place in the residence halls each semester.
  • Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) classes are held throughout the academic year and typically culminate around Easter in the spring.
  • High Holy Day Services of Selichot, Rosh Hashanah, and Kol Nidre are offered at the Riverdale Temple, 4545 Independence Avenue, Riverdale, NY. Tickets are required but free - contact administrator@riverdaletemple.org or call (718) 548-3800. CMSA can assit with more information, or transportation to Temple.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

We support and encourage students who would like to prepare to enter the Catholic Church through Baptism, Confirmation or first Eucharist. We offer Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) classes in the spring semester where you can learn about the Church and become a Catholic. Classes are offered in the spring and typically culminate around Easter.
