Manhattan University and CMSA welcomes the gifts, participation and leadership of our LGBTQ+ community members in every facet our of programming and community life. We seek to be a refuge for all those who are on their journey of growth and self-discovery, as they come to know and understand themselves fully as God's creation. Like Jesus, we stand with those pushed to the margins because of their race, identity, creed, beliefs, and personhood. We welcome our LGBTQ+ siblings in our campus community.
In addition, the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Brothers of the Christian Schools encourages Manhattan University faculty, staff, and students to live out the five Lasallian Core Principles.
