There are very few universities that have a more storied history of support for our student veterans than Manhattan University.

It has endured during peace time operations and throughout the many wars that our great country has faced. Not once did Manhattan University waiver in its dedication and commitment to its veterans.

Manhattan University is a proud partner of the Yellow Ribbon program, with unlimited caps for the number of participating students and tuition contribution. We strive to provide the best for those who served through our Veterans Success Programs. These veteran transition programs are tailored to fit the needs of our students and their families as they begin the next chapter of their lives as civilians. Our programs provide the essentials needed for the educational and transformative experience that our student veterans will have at Manhattan University.

  • Military Times 2024 Best for Vets: Colleges rankings, rising to 85th overall out of 304 schools—an impressive jump from its previous position at 218. In the regional "Northeast & Islands" category, Manhattan University also made remarkable strides, now ranking 6th, up from 27th last year. 
  • For the 10th consecutive year Manhattan University has been recognized as a Military Friendly® School and reached Gold Status for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Veterans Success Center: A New, Larger Space for a Growing Culture of Community

    Manhattan's Veterans Success Center allows student veterans a place to unwind, relax and connect with each other. Divided into three sections, the center features a comfortable “living room” furnished with couches and a large-screen TV; a conference area for group projects and tutoring; and, in the quietest corner, six pods for individual homework and studying.

  • Yellow Ribbon Program

    Manhattan College is an unlimited Yellow Ribbon schools in New York City

    Manhattan University participates in the VA Yellow Ribbon Program to assist with funding tuition expenses for military veterans and dependents. 

    This tuition benefit program includes both undergraduate and graduate study and either full or part-time enrollment. For eligible *GI Bill® recipients, as a Unlimited Yellow Ribbon school this program allows you to attend Manhattan University in New York City at no cost.
