Family Weekend

Families of all students are invited to come to campus for a weekend of fun activities. The main entrance area of the college will be stocked with schedules of the weekend, as well as Family Weekend staff available to answer any questions, provide direction on the weekend's events or to assist with photo ops for you and your family.

No reservations are required.

FREE to attend the entire weekend.

Saturday

10:00am - Monster Truck
Take a picture with a monster truck during the day!

11:00am - Golf Driving Range
Play, practice, and improve your game right on campus on a driving range with great city views.

12:00pm - Lunch
Enjoy a meal at the famous Locke's on campus.

1:00pm - Hypnotist
Be part of a high energy and funny hypnosis show.

2:00pm - Men's Soccer vs. Quinnipiac
Come cheer on our student-athletes in Gaelic Park.

2:30pm - Mentalist
Be amazed! A magician will show tricks to impress your entire family.

5:00pm - Dinner
Come to Locke's for another great meal. 

6:00pm - Gaelic Park Athletic Center Grand Opening
Take a tour of our newest facility on campus, the Gaelic Park Athletic Center (GPAC).

6:30pm - An evening with David Moscow
David Moscow has shown his talent and versatility as an actor, writer, director and producer in film, television and theater. Moscow made his feature acting debut in the now classic film, BIG, directed by Penny Marshall. Other past film credits include Disney’s NEWSIES; RIDING IN CARS WITH BOYS, starring Drew Barrymore, for which he reunited with director Marshall; RESTAURANT, with Adrien Brody and much more. Enjoy candy and popcorn on us, too!

 

Sunday

10:30am - Mass
Please celebrate mass with us in our Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers. Co-sponsored with our office of Campus Ministry and Social Action.

12:00pm - Family Trip to Midtown Manhattan
Round-trip bus transportation will be provided, departing from campus to take families into midtown Manhattan. Being dropped off at 82 street and 5th Avenue, you'll be at the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET)*, can check out the beautiful fall foliage of Central Park, and enjoy the sites and sounds of the city. Co-sponsored with our Office of Alumni Relations. 

3:00pm - Fall Convocation
By invitation only.

Parents

We do not offer housing on campus for parents during family weekend, but there are many hotels in the surrounding area. See a list of local hotels. Please be advised that Manhattan College is not in any way affiliated with the hotels provided on this list. 

Siblings

Siblings are allowed to stay with a Manhattan College resident student. Manhattan students should obtain a guest pass from the Residence Life Office before their sibling arrives.
