Cooking Show featuring Executive Chef Craig!

Take a top-notch cooking class from home as you watch and cook along from your own kitchen! Join our first-ever virtual cooking show - but we need you to participate along with us! Our great Manhattan College Dining Campus Executive Chef, Craig DiBattista, will be teaching everyone how to cook Huevos Rancheros! Please see the complete ingredient list at the bottom of this webpage so that you may purchase all the ingredients and supplies needed ahead of time! Executive Chef Craig, with over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry, will take us step by step through the process to make this delicious brunch item! Scavenger Hunt

For those students who are on campus, join us as we turn the campus into a fun scavenger hunt. You can meet one of the Student Engagement staff members in front of Raymond W. Kelly ’63 Student Commons for instructions on how to play.

A Medley of Songs from the musical Hamilton
Join an open rehearsal of the Manhattan College Singers as they work on two pieces in their choral repertoire. The first is an arrangement of the Carly Simon classic, "Let the River Run" followed by a rousing rendition of a Medley from the hit Broadway Musical, "Hamilton." Jazz Lounge
A special presentation of the Jasper's Jazz Lounge featuring a combo of Eddie Grimes and Matt Keosayian on Saxophone, Patrick Harnedy on trombone, Emmanuel Luzincourt on keyboard, Kieran Clifford on bass, and Sam Szabo on drums. Fall Honors Convocation
This year's prestigious awards ceremony will be streamed virtually from our Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers via the link Select members of the Manhattan College Singers will perform "For the Beauty of the Earth" by John Rutter as a musical reflection for the convocation.

Weekly Mass
Join us virtually in the Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers as we live stream our weekly Sunday Mass featuring the lively and engaging Manhattan College Music Ministry. This Sunday, one of our musical highlights will be a performance of Cacinni's setting of the Ave Maria. For those that are joining us virtually, please watch online here. For the students who are on campus, they can go to the Chapel. Co-sponsored by Campus Ministry and Social Action.

  • Ingredients and Supplies Required for the Cooking Show
    2 tbsp Olive oil
    1 cup diced red peppers
    1 cup diced green peppers
    1 cup diced onion
    Pinch Kosher salt
    Pinch black pepper
    2 gloves garlic crushed
    1 tbsp dried cumin
    3 tbsp chipotle pepper puree
    1 1/2 cups crumbled chorizo
    16oz diced tomatoes with juice

    1 cup canned black bean
    1 cup canned pinto bean
    ¼ diced and seeded jalapeno
    Pinch kosher salt
    Pinch black pepper
    ½ tbsp lime zest
    ½ lime juiced
    2tbsp cilantro chopped

    2 Fresh Cage free eggs (large or extra-large)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 oz butter
    Pinch salt
    Pinch black pepper
    3 Corn tortilla
    2 oz cotija cheese
    ½ ripe avocado
    6 leaves fresh cilantro

    Utensils needed
    Cutting board
    Small dishes to hold chopped items
    Wooden spoon/plastic kitchen spoon
    Handheld stick blender (optional)
    3 10-inch nonstick pans (could use one and wash after use)
    1 spatula (food turner)

    1 nice serving plate
    Fork and knife (for eating)
