How to Register for Undergraduates

Online registration will open on Monday, April 3, 2023, and end on Friday, September 1, 2023. All students can continue to register online until then.

Please note that you will not be able to register during your assigned time if you do not take your registration form to your dean’s office at least two working days prior to your registration time, or if you have any holds on your account.

1.  Review the course offerings and fill out the Undergraduate registration form. Registrants must include the CRN number, which is required for web registration.

2.  Take the form to your advisor(s) for approval:

3.  Register online at selfservice.manhattan.edu by using the following steps:

  • Click on Enter Secure Area
  • Input your Jaspernet ID number and password
  • Click on Student and Financial Aid, then click Registration
  • Click on Add/Drop Classes
  • Select Term
  • Input the CRN numbers from your registration form and hit "submit"

4.To check for holds, click on student records then click on Holds. If there is a hold on your account, contact the appropriate office (bursar, health services, library, etc.) to resolve the issue. You will not be able to register until the hold is lifted.

5. Only the department chairs can sign you into closed courses. Any courses that require special permission have to be entered by your dean's office or the registrar's office.

Registration Schedule: Fall 2023 Classes

Priority registration dates are determined by the number of credits you have already completed, not including any credits for courses you are currently enrolled in.The system will prevent you from registering online prior to your assigned start time. The system is down between the hours of midnight and 6:59 a.m. for registration.

How to Register for Graduate Students 

1.  Review the course offerings and fill out the graduate registration form, including the CRN number.

2.  Take the form to your Director for approval.

3.  You can begin to register online starting at 7 a.m. on April 3rd. The system is not available to you between the hours of midnight and 6:59 a.m.  
After the add/drop period ends, you must take your registration form to the registrar's office for processing.

4.  Register online at selfservice.manhattan.edu by using the following steps:

  • Click on Enter Secure Area
  • Input your Jaspernet ID and password
  • Click on Student and Financial Aid, then click Registration
  • Click on Add/Drop Classes
  • Select Term
  • Input the CRN numbers from your registration form and hit "submit”

Undergraduate:

Full-Time: 12 credits or more
¾ Time: 9-11 credits
Half-Time: 6-8 credits
Less than Half-Time: 1-5 credits

Graduate:

Full Time: 6 credits
¾ Time: 4-5 credits
Half-Time: 3 credits
Less than Half-Time: 1-2 credits
