Academic Advising

Students will find dedicated Centralized Academic Advisors located in the Center for Advising and Academic Success (Thomas Hall 3.10). All incoming students are assigned an academic advisor. Advisors will provide students with cohesive and personalized advising. Students can find their advisors listed on Self Service and Jasper Connect. Alternatively, they can reach out to advising@manhattan.edu with any questions.

Services will be tailored to assist students with a seamless transition to Manhattan University. Advisors will help students to navigate their undergraduate degrees. In addition, they will assist their advisees in learning Manhattan University systems, platforms, and the processes required to complete their degrees. This includes registration for upcoming semesters.

After the first year, and when they have selected a major, students will be assigned a faculty advisor. Faculty advisors will help students select upper level courses, serve as a specialist in their fields, and assist students with planning for their postgraduate goals. The Centralized Academic Advisors will still be accessible to students throughout their degrees.
