Research and Learning Center

  • RLC 103: This lab has 58 computer stations and is used exclusively as an open computer lab for students.

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

O'Malley Library 

  • Electronic Commons Room 506: This lab has 28 computer stations and is used exclusively as an open computer lab for students. 
  • South Computer Room 206: This lab has 38 computer stations and is used exclusively as an open computer lab for students.
  • 1st Floor Computer Area: This lab has 17 computer stations and is used exclusively as an open computer lab for students.

Classroom Computer Labs

There are many classroom computer labs throughout campus that students may use when the room is not being used for class.

  • RLC 102: 33 stations including teacher's station
  • RLC 104: 25 stations including teacher's station
  • RLC 105: 33 stations including teacher's station
  • RLC 107: 33 stations including teacher's station
  • RLC 102A: 18 stations including teacher's station (this is a Linux lab, so none of the machines run Windows)
  • DLS 309: 33 stations including teacher's station
  • DLS 314: 34 stations including two teacher's stations
  • OMAL 410: 31 stations including teacher's station

In addition, there are a number of other computer labs that are used exclusively for classes. These labs are generally not available for students to use outside of class time without permission from a professor.

Computer Lab Seat Availability

ITS now monitors computer usage in all the computer labs on campus. Locate realtime availability via our new LabStats web application. Use the Map feature to locate printers.

Remotely

Remotely allows access to campus computer labs over the internet. Remotely was implemented to give students more access to software that would normally only be accessible in computer labs on campus.

Software Requests

See software currently available in all computer labs. Any software upgrades or additions should be requested via the form below. Please complete this form and submit to the designated parties for approval.

  • A completed software request form should be submitted to Information Technology Services with the requested software media and licenses by the designated due date.
    • The due date for the Fall semester is the second Friday of May.  
    • The due date for the Spring semester is the second Friday of November.  
  • Email notifications will be sent out each semester with the exact due dates.
