Attendance at all workshops for students is mandatory. There are optional information sessions that parents may attend throughout orientation.

Overview

Orientation Day 1 

Day one will introduce new students to the student life division, deans of the schools, and current student leaders. Students will attend invaluable information sessions about campus life. They will also have a chance to participate in a variety of social and team-building activities.

In addition, students meet with their school’s dean in preparation for the upcoming fall semester. Lunch and dinner will be provided. Orientation check in will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in Cafe 1853, Thomas Hall, 2nd Floor.

Finish the day connecting with other incoming students and their parents while enjoying a boat cruise around NYC. Dinner will be served.

Orientation Day 2

Day two will introduce new students to essential parts of the campus community and to their academic advisors. The day will end at checkout at 11:15am. Breakfast will be provided.
