Emerging Leaders Program
Multicultural Affairs hosts a year-long leadership initiative that combines leadership training, site visits to top leaders in the city, and event planning. The participants will develop real skills and cultural competencies that are highly sought after in today’s workforce.
There is a weekly one (1) hour obligation and a week long symposium during the winter intersession (completely covered).
Applications will be open in August.
All of Us Retreat
Held every September, The All Of Us retreat is hosted by Multicultural Affairs. It is a weekend retreat that is held off campus. Transportation, lodging, and food will be covered and participants will not incur any costs.
You will be in workshops with students from all different walks of life and all different identities. The goal of the retreat is to get a deeper understanding of social justice issues and how they affect our lives. ALL are welcome, regardless of you identify.
Space is limited. Applications will be open in September.
Conferences
We recognize that some of the best information comes from attending conferences. We offer opportunities to participate a number of conferences, workshops, symposiums, and/or lecture in the hopes that students will bring the knowledge back to campus. Check back for opportunities and applications. If you have a different conference or program in mind, please let us know.
