COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption for Employees

Manhattan College requires that all employees must demonstrate proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, which includes a full series of vaccines and a booster shot by June 15, 2022 . An employee must be in compliance with this requirement in order to be on campus. Please see the Vaccine Requirement for 2022-23 Academic Year for more information. New employees must become compliant with the vaccine requirement or hold an approved exemption before the start of employment.  

Medical & Religious Exemptions

Employees seeking or renewing a medical or religious-based exemption to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement must complete all of the below exemption application forms, specific to your request, and upload them to the Employee Exemption Portal. Medical Exemptions 

Apply for this type of exemption if the vaccine may be detrimental to your health or is otherwise medically not advised as a course of treatment or procedure.

Religious Exemptions

Apply for this type of exemption if you have a sincerely held religious belief, practice or observance that prohibits you from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Please note: applications for a religious exemption from a booster dose are not available.

Timeline & Renewal of Exemptions

Please allow up to 10 business days for the College to review your application for an exemption, after it is fully submitted. Medical exemptions must be renewed prior to the start of each academic year
