    Chief Compliance Officer

    Goldie Adele, J.D., is the Chief Compliance Officer at Manhattan College and oversees the office of College Compliance and Ethics, which includes the Title IX Office.

    Goldie has more than 18 years of collaborative experience in higher education compliance and the law. Most recently, he served as assistant general counsel at the University of Hartford. Prior to that, he was director of the Disability Resource Center at Southern Connecticut State University for nearly a decade.

    Goldie began his professional career at Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he received his law degree. At the Cooley School of Law, Goldie was the coordinator of student services and diversity programs for eight and a half years. He was responsible for ADA and International student (SEVIS) compliance and diversity/equity programs.

    Adele earned a B.A. in political science from Temple University, a J.D. from Western Michigan and an M.S. from Southern Connecticut State University.
