The Pre-Law / LSAT Event originally scheduled in February has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27 at 4:30pm in O'Malley Library Alumni Room 100. All students who are interested in investigating a career in law are invited and strongly encouraged to attend the event.
The program "re-introduces" the LSAT to students by demonstrating how law school school students are taught to read. The presenters will introduce students to the IRAC method (Issue, Rule, Analysis, Conclusion), and illustrate by example how IRAC applies to the LSAT. When students read with greater discipline and apply the IRAC method, increases occur over previously reported LSAT scores. Therefore, this program will be beneficial to students on all year levels.
The presentation will be followed by a brief panel discussion from representatives of St. John's University Law School, Touro School of Law, Pace University Law School, and Albany Law School. Students will have the opportunity to speak with the representatives at the conclusion of the event.
Please see Br. Daniel (Thomas 3.50) with any questions. We hope to see you on March 27.
