Want to Be An Activist? Come to the Women and Gender Conference April 1st

Build your toolbox as an activist at the Lasallian Women and Gender Conference, April 1st in Kelly 5A. The conference will feature:

10am, Kelly 5A: Keynote Speaker Sasha Ahuja of Girls for Gender Equity, on how to build an activist movement

12pm, Kelly 5A: Our Activism Lunch Panel, featuring local activists from Bronx Progressives, FIERCE, Mekong NYC and our own MC student activists

1-2pm, Kelly 4A: Learn about student research on gender and sexuality at our Student Poster Session. Engage with our own student activists, and learn how your research can spark activist engagement

2-3pm, Kelly 5A: Keynote Speaker Aduku Utah of Harriet's Apothecary teaches us about practices of healing and self-care for activists and advocates

3-5pm, Kelly 5A: How to Be An Activist Workshop with Northwest Bronx Community and Clergy  Coalition
