Update: Novel Coronavirus and FLU season

Health Services sent an important email update from the Department of Health about Coronavirus risk. Please check your Manhattan College email for more information.

 

FLU season is prevalent in New York State. It’s not too late to get a FLU shot. 

FLU is not just a bad cold. FLU is a contagious illness that may cause mild to severe illness.

FLU symptoms usually start suddenly and may include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache, body aches, and tiredness. Health Services recommends good handwashing, flu vaccines, staying away from others with symptoms. If you develop illness seek medical care, stay in your room or home with fever. Please call Health Services for appointments or questions.
