Today is the day! Be a Star! Join the Lasallian Collaborative Art Project

Take the spotlight in our Lasallian Photo Collage dedicated to St. John Baptist de La Salle TODAY 11am-6pm on the Steps of Smith Auditorium. Just look for the big star!

Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Bring a photo (digitally from your phone) of your time at Manhattan College which is an example of service, excellence in teaching, respect for human dignity, faith, inclusive community, or any other Lasallian experience that means something to you.
  2. If you sent a picture in advance, we'll have it printed for you at the desk, ready to go.
  3. If you don’t have a photo, that’s okay! Come anyway and speak about who De La Salle was, and what he means to you. We will have post it notes and shiny pens!
We're looking for photos from a Manhattan College experience where you either learned about St. John Baptist de La Salle (or the Lasallian mission), were inspired by him, and/or were carrying on his legacy (including any study abroad trips, service trips, community based learning or related activities).

The best stories will be featured in a video about the history of De La Salle and how Jaspers carry on his legacy.

Event info: TODAY from 11am-6pm on the Steps of Smith Auditorium.

Please spread the word by forwarding this along to students, alumni, faculty and staff. All are welcome.

Thank you.
