Student Engagement: Information for Student Clubs and Organizations

The Office of Student Engagement is available to work with students and ensure that we continue to assist and help our students stay actively engaged. Following is a list of areas that you may have questions to. While this seeks to provide direction, please know that we are available to chat on the phone, via email or through a virtual platform. If you would like to set up a meeting with a staff member, please email studentengagement@manhattan.edu and we will get in touch with you to set up a time that works for you. 

Reimbursements
If you made purchases towards an event that already took place this semester and have not submitted receipts to our office, you may do so by emailing your receipts to the Student Engagement email. Please email receipts as an attachment and on the body of the email provide the following information: 
  • Student Name
  • Student ID #
  • Home Address 
  • Club Name
  • Provide the event that the receipt was for (name of event and date of event).
Please note: Dates on receipts must be prior to March 9 which is the last date that sponsored events were allowed.
We are actively working with the Controller's office to ensure your reimbursements are processed. Please know that reimbursements may be delayed as a result of current circumstances but we will work to make sure you receive your reimbursement as soon as possible. Our office will request that all reimbursements be mailed to the address you provide to us.
Virtual Initiatives
If you or your club has an idea for a virtual initiative and would like our assistance in executing or promoting, please reach out to us at studentengagement@manhattan.edu. We'd love to hear from you!
Club Elections
If your club was not able to hold elections, and would like assistance, please let us know. Some clubs are already holding elections digitally and this is completely ok. But if a digital/ virtual election is not ideal for your club or you are unable to hold it at this time, please reach out to our office at studentengagement@manhattan.edu. We will work with you to ensure that your club maintains its active status. 
Club Registration
If you have already held club elections, please be sure to fill out the Club Registration form emailed to all clubs. The form will be open through the end of the Spring semester. If you are not able to fill out the form by the end of the semester, please let us know so that we may extend the form's deadline for your club.
