Student Engagement: Are you interested in running for a position on Student Government?

Attention all freshman, sophomores and juniors, we are in the season of Student Government Elections! Applications to run for a student government position will be available this Monday, April 6, 2020!!! Experience is not required. Student Government members are an essential part of Manhattan College's governing student body. Your voice and your presence on campus is valuable and is the only requirement to run for Student Government. We encourage you to apply for a Student Government position, including Student Body President, if you would like to be part of the body that represents the voice of the student population.

At this time, the only thing you need to do is email us at studentengagement@manhattan.edu if you are interested in running for a position. We will be conducting a virtual information session on April 6 at 12pm to answer any and all of your questions. By emailing us, we will be able to send you a Google Meet invitation for the information session. If you are unable to attend the virtual session, we will send you a copy of the information sheet with a Q&A section of commonly asked questions. A Student Engagement staff member will also be available throughout the process to walk you through the steps. But first, we need to know if you're interested.

Email us at studentengagement@manhattan.edu from your Manhattan College email address to let us know if you are interested in running for Student Government.

Also, check out our Instagram @MCStudentEngage as this year's Student Government members offer great advice to those running for 2020-2021 positions.
