Scholarships available for Summer 2020 study abroad - apply now!

The Office of Study Abroad is excited to announce scholarships for two of our summer programs: Bogotá, Colombia and Paris, France!
  • Bogotá: The first ten students who apply and are confirmed as participants for this program will receive a Lasallian scholarship of $2500 that applies directly towards the overall program fee of $4250. This means that scholarship recipients will receive 3 credits of tuition, round-trip airfare, housing in Colombia, a meal allowance, and international health insurance for only $1750! Students can complete either PHIL 201 (Ethics) or PHIL 214 (Critical Thinking) as part of this program. PHIL 201 is a required course for all School of Business Students; both PHIL 201 and PHIL 214 can count as a liberal arts or general elective for other schools/majors.
  • Paris: If you are looking for general elective or liberal arts elective credit, Paris is a great choice! Participants will earn 3 credits for MUSC 150/305. This sound studies course explores the connection between the history and culture of Paris and its sounds and does not require any background musical knowledge. It can fulfil the Roots: Art requirement for Liberal Arts or Science students; Sounds Studies major credit; Digital Arts & Humanities (DAsH) minor credit; or general or liberal arts elective credit. We have one $1000 "Études Sonores" scholarship available; committed students will need to submit an essay in order to apply for this scholarship. Further information on the scholarship application process will be sent to all students who turn in a Form A and deposit for the Paris program.
In addition to Bogotá and Paris, we also still have spaces available in our Belfast, Madrid, and Rome summer programs. Reach out to studyabroad@manhattan.edu with any questions about these scholarships or study abroad opportunities, or to request a study abroad application form!
