Pre-Health Professions Freshman/Transfer Students Introductory Information Session

Manhattan College is eager to guide students who are interested in the Health Professions on a roadmap to success and admission to graduate schools.  This information seminar is intended for freshman/transfer students who are interested in a variety of health professions, including dentistry, medicine, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician's assistant, podiatry, public health, etc.  Students from the School of Science, Allied Health, and Exercise Science are encouraged to attend, but students that are interested in the health professions from all schools are welcome to learn about our procedures.

The information session will explain shadowing, GPA, volunteer, research, and standardized test requirements. It will also explain the process for obtaining an institutional letter of recommendation necessary for many graduate and professional schools.

The information session will take place on Wednesday, September 26 at 12:30pm in Hayden Hall 100.

Please see Dr. Bruce Liby (Hayden 305) or Br. Daniel (Thomas 3.50) for more information.  Pre-Health, Exercise Science, and Allied Health representatives will be in attendance.
