NYS Assembly and Senate Internship Program Applications Open

Every spring, the NYS Assembly and Senate Interns spend the summer in Albany, working for a member of the legislature, taking an academic course, and participating in a mock legislative session. They earn 12-15 credits, $6,200 and invaluable experience. Manhattan College students Jennifer Garcia (International Studies and Government, 2013) and Thomas McCarthy (Economics, 2017) entered the program as seniors and got job offers at the end of the program, Paige Hughes (Urban Studies, 2016) interned as a junior.  Students of all majors are welcome to apply. Applications are available from Professor Groarke (margaret.groarke@manhattan.edu) and are due November 1, 2018.
