Help Us Win Back Our Title of "Best College Marching Unit!"

 

Manhattan College welcomes you to join hundreds of Jaspers, their families, and friends marching in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade

 

Saturday, March 16, 2019

Pre-Parade Breakfast: 10:00 a.m. | Parade Line-Up: 11:30 a.m.

45th Street at 5th Avenue

 

The Manhattan College contingent will be led by President Brennan O’Donnell, along with the award-winning Manhattan College Pipes & Drums.

 

Pre-Parade Breakfast:

The alumni relations office will host a breakfast reception at the Club Quarters Hotel (40 West 45th Street) from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost: Adults $40 | Students: $20 | Graduates of the Classes of 2008-2018: $30

Includes sash* and a Manhattan College branded gift.

* Sashes are available for purchase on the line of march for $5.00 from the Gaelic Society.  Everyone marching with the College must wear an official Manhattan College sash.

 

Advanced registration is required for the reception.

Transportation:

Coach bus departs campus (Gaelic Park - W. 240th Street & Tibbett Avenue) at 8:45 a.m. for students, members of the Pipe Band, select members of the Gaelic Society, the AFROTC Color Guard and the College Community.

 

Keep in mind that we are judged throughout the parade.

Ground Rules:
  • Smart business casual attire required; preferably no jeans or sneakers
  • No beads, funny hats, painted faces or commercial advertising
  • No smoking, food or beverages while marching
  • No more than 12 people across per row
  • March at an arm's distance apart
  • No outside banners, flags or signs will be allowed

Additional marchers cannot join the group once we are on 5th Avenue  …by order of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee
