LOVE Service Immersion Experiences - Summer Break 2019 Applications Now Open

Are you interested in participating in a service immersion experience over Summer Break 2019? Join a team of students next semester to explore your own identity, learn about social justice, and gain new perspectives. All students are welcome to participate, including graduating seniors.


Summer Break experiences will take place May 19-26, 2019 and will go to:

  • Chicago, Illinois with the Brother David Darst Center
    • Cost: Approximately $500-$700 (estimated cost after group fundraising on average)
    • Travel: The group will be driving to and from Chicago from Manhattan College
    • Issue Areas: Restorative Justice, Immigration, Homelessness, & Food Security
  • Tucson, Arizona with Borderlinks
    • Cost: $900-$1,200 (estimated cost after group fundraising on average)
    • Issue Areas: Immigration, Migration, & Citizenship
  • Homestead, Florida with the La Salle Educational Center Homestead
    • Cost: $600-$800 (estimated cost after group fundraising on average)
    • Issue Areas: Education, Farmworker Justice, Immigration, & Citizenship
