Latin & Central America - and the USA

Eleven (11) De La Salle Christian Brothers from Chile, Brasil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Cuba and Mexico, came together from December 2nd - 22nd, 2017 in Guadalajara, Mexico for their retreat in preparation for perpetual profession. You can see their pictures and read more here.

Here in the United States, during the 2017-2018 academic year there are five (5) De La Salle Christian Brothers preparing for the first vows during a year-long Novitiate program in Chicago, IL.  One of these five men is a 2007 Manhattan College alumnus - and former Manhattan College Student Body President - Brother Paul Avento. You can read more about Paul here

And what about YOU?

De La Salle Christian Brothers are men who dedicate their entire lives to the ministry of teaching - here in the United States and throughout 80 countries of the world.  Brothers commit themselves, their life's passion, and their energy:

  • to the students entrusted to their care,
  • to each other in their Community,
  • to their colleagues and partners involved in the eductional adventure,
  • and (through all of these) to God.

You are invited to the Vocation Summit on February 15, 2018 in Lincroft, New Jersey.  This is an opportunity to learn more about the spirituality, community life, and mission of the Brothers through prayer and conversation.
