Jasper Summer Research Scholars Information Sessions

The Jasper Summer Research Scholars is a fellowship that will offer a stipend to scholars to pursue on campus summer research between their sophomore and junior year or between junior and senior year. This research program will support up to three students each from School of Liberal Arts, School of Science, School of Education, School of Business, and School of Engineering undergraduate programs.  There will be information sessions to explain the application process and criteria for selection on Tuesday, November 27 at 4pm in Miguel 311 OR Wednesday, November 28 at 12pm in Leo 215.  Interested applicants are strongly encouraged to attend either session in order to understand how to be a more competitive applicant.

Scholars will be chosen based on an evaluation of their proposed research or creative project, their academic and co-curricular achievements, and promise for future contributions to knowledge and research in their discipline. On-campus housing is provided for the summer in addition to workshops and guidance.
