Goldwater, Hollings, and Udall Scholarship Information Session

You are invited to an information session to explain several science and engineering scholarships on Wednesday, October 16 at 12pm in Kelly Commons 4B.  

The Barry Goldwater Scholarship seeks to identify sophomores and juniors with a strong interest in research in mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering.  Students must be interested in studying for a Ph.D. in the future. The foundation provides a tuition scholarship in the amount of $7,500.  More information is available at here.

The Ernest Hollings Scholarship funds sophomores interested in research in the disciplines of environmental and biological sciences, mathematics, engineering, physics, and science teacher education (areas of interest for NOAA).  The scholarship is worth $9,500 for two years plus a paid summer research internship at a NOAA facility.

The Udall Foundation seeks to identify sophomores and juniors with an interest in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental engineering, and tribal affairs.  The foundation provides a tuition scholarship in the amount of $7,000.  More information is available at here.
