Gary Sanchez Lecture Friday!

The Office of Student Engagement is proud to announce our first ever Spanish speaking lecture! Gary Sanchez, the New York Yankees All-Star catcher, will be here on Friday, February 9 at 12:30pm in the Great Room.
Sanchez, born in the Dominican Republic, where he still lives during the off-season, will be giving this lecture completely in Spanish, as we have it translated into English. Open to our entire community, this event will be taking place in the Great Room, with lunch being served. Manhattan College ID is required to attend.
A meet-and-greet for pictures only will be held afterwards for all students in attendance. No autographs will be given.
This event is being cosponsored by the Camino Program and the Office of Events Management. This is a part of the sixth annual lecture series held by the Office of Student Engagement, and first ever being hosted completely in Spanish. Manhattan College's Camino Program provides native Spanish speakers an associate's degree in general studies. The program can be completed in five semesters and offers bilingual faculty and intensive language support to reinforce English skills.
