From Across the Globe to Manhattan College

Among the faculty and staff from Lasallian schools across the globe who will be coming to Manhattan College to participate in the Buttimer Institute for Lasallian Students (June 23-July 6, 2019) are

  • Two (2) faculty members from La Salle Higher Secondary School in Multan, Pakistan (which has a nursery school, primary school, secondary school, and college) ... click here for more information
  • One (1) Brother from St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Tuticorin District, South India ... click here for more information

In addition, participating in the Buttimer Institute for Lasallian Students from Manhattan College will be

  • Sister Mary Ann Jacobs, School of Education and Health
  • Dr. Barbara Vallera, School of Continuing and Professional Studies
  • Amy Handfield, O'Malley Library
  • AJ Goodman, Residence Life

There will approximately 100 other Lasallian educators coming to Manhattan College for the Buttimer Institute for Lasallian Studies this summer, from far and wide ... from Kenya, Ethiopia, Australia, Hong Kong, and elsewhere across the USA as well.

Before they come or while they are here, if you might be interested in contacting any of our Lasallian colleagues who will be coming to Manhattan College from across the globe to study for two-weeks (June 23-July 6, 2019) -- perhaps to explore some potential collaborative teaching, research, and/or service opportunities -- please contact Brother Jack, Vice President for Mission, ASAP.
