Easy Ways to get an Absentee Ballot for NYS June 23rd Primary Election

On Tuesday, June 23rd, New York State will hold primary elections for President, Congress, State Senate and State Assembly. Any registered Democrat is entitled to and encouraged to participate in the Democratic primary. Any registered Republican is encouraged to participate in the GOP primary.
If you would like to vote ABSENTEE, the Governor has made it easier for you to do so this year. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot is June 16, but we recommend applying NOW.
The application asks you for a REASON you are voting Absentee. The state has instructed that you should say "Temporary Illness" -- they have decided to include fear of getting COVID under that category.

Manhattan College encourages every eligible member of the community to make their voice heard by voting! If you have questions about voting this year, feel free to contact margaret.groarke@manhattan.edu
