JOIN WITH INTERNATIONAL LASALLIAN COLLEAGUES who are coming to Manhattan College this summer!


The Buttimer Institute is a “uniquely profound Lasallian opportunity” that integrates traditional academic components with personal and inter-personal formation experiences, emphasizing and fostering a real sense of community among participants while providing participants the opportunity to take a “deep dive” to explore and to consider making one’s own the identity and vocation of “being a Lasallian.”


The Buttimer Institute for Lasallian Studies is named after a 1933 alumnus of Manhattan College.


Join with 120 educators from across the USA as well as from Canada, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore who will gather here on campus this summer! 


Manhattan College faculty, staff, and employees are invited and encouraged to apply for this two-week residential living and learning professional development and personal formation program offered at Manhattan College from Sunday, June 23 - Saturday, July 6, 2019.
