LOVE Summer Break Trips - Application Deadline Extended

The Lasallian Outreach Volunteer Experience (L.O.V.E.) summer service immersion trips will be going to Florida, Chicago, Arizona, & the Dominican Republic. Applications are available here and the deadline has been extended to Wednesday, February 14th. LOVE Arizona

In partnership with Borderlinks, LOVE Arizona exposes students to the multifaceted immigration issue. Borderlinks helps to raise awareness about the impact of border and immigration policies and inspires action for social transformation. Dates: May 13th-19th. Tentative Cost: $1,300.

LOVE Chicago

LOVE Chicago takes place at the Brother David Darst Center. As a participant, you are fully immersed in urban life, and address core issues such as homelessness and poverty. This trip is a great way to see the social injustices that are prevalent in American cities and reflect upon the root causes. Dates: May 27th-31st. Tentative Cost: $600.

LOVE Florida

On LOVE Florida, you have the unique opportunity to work with migrant families at the De La Salle Centre in Homestead, Florida, outside of Miami. As group members, you will serve as tutors, after-school caretakers and help with computer and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, among many other projects. Dates: May 20th-26th. Tentative Cost: $700. 

LOVE Dominican Republic

Students live and work at a retreat center in El Cercado. you will work with community organizations focusing on health, agriculture and education. San Pedro y Pablo works with community groups to organize for their benefit and improve the quality of their own lives. Dates: June 5th-11th. Tentative Cost: $800.
