Inaugural June Dwyer Memorial Lecture

The Inaugural June Dwyer Memorial Lecture, sponsored by the English Department, will be held today, Wednesday, September 18, at 4:00 p.m. in the Alumni Room (O'Malley Library 100).  Our speaker will be Dr. Jean Lutes (Villanova University). She will speak on “A Queer Tale of Two Endings: Alice Dunbar-Nelson and 'His Heart's Desire,’” a story by a Harlem Renaissance writer of a boy who loves a doll and the making of masculinity.
