One Year In Mission: Solidarity with South Sudan Yambio, Western Equatoria, South Sudan
To help this new country address its grave educational and humanitarian
needs, the Brothers teamed up with other religious orders to launch
training programs for teachers and healthcare professionals. To equip
this country with competent talent, the Brothers travel with instructors to
isolated villages in the rural areas of Juba, Yambio, Rimenze, and Wau.
These teams offer training courses and social services to people who
would otherwise not have access. Since 2015 the project has successfully
trained 384 teachers, 104 nurses and 41 midwives.
